Farm Technology Days!
Jul. 26, 2010

Farm Technology Days were held in Pierce County this year! I had the most amazing time with my team and host families!

During the day I enjoyed giving tours of the Peterson Family Dairy Farm and walking tent city with the industry’s most advanced vendors!

In the evening, I stayed at the most amazing host family’s home: Kelly Matzek! It was so exciting to see how caring she is!

The past week and a half have been so much fun! I can't wait to tell you about the team's travel's to the Wisconsin State Fair! Stay posted!

First Pitch of the Twins Game!
Jul. 26, 2010

Throughout this busy week, I also went to a Twins game as well! On Sunday the 18th of July, I attended the Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox and threw the first pitch of the game!

After the first pitch, I enjoyed the game with Samantha Becker and Amy Kringle. All three of us sang “Take me out to the ball game” for the seventh inning stretch on the big jumbo screen!

Wrightstown Golf Outing!
Jul. 26, 2010

This past week and half have gone so fast that I haven’t been able to blog on my normal schedule! I am so excited to finally give an update! I am going to post three separate blogs on the same day, so I can add more pictures for everyone to see!

On the 14th of July, I went to the Wrightstown golf outing Fundraiser with Ethan Giebel and Sam Tauchen. Educators, and anyone else interested in the agriculture industry was able to have fun golfing and support the Wisconsin FFA Foundation! The weather cooperated and we had a beautiful day!

Back from Springfield, Illinois!
Jul. 11, 2010

This past week I was in Springfield, Illinois for the NLCSO (National Leadership Conference for State Officers). I was able to spend five days with four other Association Officers: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Missouri. Towards the end of the week I started to gain a Kentucky accent.

Our fun filled learning workshop sessions were led by National FFA Eastern Region Vice President Alex Henry and Southern Region Vice President Chelsea Doss. The theme of the week was the “High Impact Workout”. The team spent many hours bonding and continuing our progress planning SLW’s (Sectional Leadership Workshop) and FIRE (Foundations in Reaching Excellence) Conferences. Wednesday I will be at the Wrightstown Golf Outing!

The Official Theme!
Jul. 02, 2010

This past week I was in Madison for the WAAE (Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators) Conference. Here, the team was able to meet the amazing agricultural educators and FFA advisors throughout the state, decided ways to make the Sectional Leadership Workshop and FIRE Conference outstanding, and announced our theme for the year: POWERED BY POTENTIAL.
The team had a fun time Celebrating Noah’s Birthday by Mini golfing and eating at Red Robins! This next week we will be headed to Springfield, Illinois for NLCSO (National Leadership Conference for State Officers)
